The best teacher for a child is their parents. A child’s parents know their child inside and out, seeing how they are on a daily basis.

The Scrunch is not meant to be a primary source of education for your children but an additional resource to utilize that will help you as you teach your children in some of their most foundational years.

Miss Ashly

Hi! My name is Ashly. I am the heart and mind behind The Scrunch. I was homeschooled for five years and that experience has ignited my passion for the homeschool world.

I have experience working with gifted students, students who have ADHD, and students with dyslexia. I will receive my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University in the spring of 2025.

I love to read and drink coffee daily. For fun, I like listening to music, walking nature trails, and spending time with my family, friends, and dog (PB).
